Where can I get my cub's uniform?

There is are 3 scout shops in the Twin Cities area. The staff there will make sure your cub is set up with the right uniform. Additionally uniforms can be ordered online.

Tip: if you have a younger scout joining, get a shirt a size bigger than he needs for room to grow into it over the years. Sometimes you can find used uniform shirts as well on garage sale or similar sites.

What age are the youth in Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting is for both boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grades or 6 to 10 years of age. Youth who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join a Scouts BSA troop or Venturing crew.

Express your interest to the pack leaders—the Cubmaster, Committee Chair or Den Leaders. They can help you understand the process and guide you on areas where the pack needs support.

Citizenship is not required of youth or adults to become members of the Boy Scouts of America.

One, single registration fee covers dues for the National Council as well as our local Northern Star Council. A portion of the registration fee goes directly to the pack for programming costs.
